Redness & Rosacea

Rosacea/rosy cheeks/concentrated broken capillaries

Rosacea is a disorder involving chronic inflammation of the cheeks, nose, chin, forehead, or eyelids; it may cause redness, vascularity (increased prominence of the blood vessels), swelling or hyperplasia (increase in size of the tissue), or skin eruptions similar to acne. As the laser energy is applied, the vessel will disappear. Several seconds later it will be replaced with rythema (redness) which will fade within a few days (face) or weeks (legs).
